Winemaking process
WINEMAKING
Fermentation: the grapes are placed directly into a new barrel, punched down and stirred manually until extraction is complete, then aged 12 months in the same barrel once it has been sealed by the cooper.
Tasting
TASTING NOTE
Color: Deep red with purple highlights.
Nose: The aromas are perfectly balanced: jammy black fruits (blackberry, strawberry), enhanced by delicate nuances of pencil lead and tonka bean.
Palate: The attack is smooth and fresh, then builds to a crescendo where red fruits and spices intertwine, with a finely peppery rhythm.
Finish: It stretches out gracefully, long and balanced, carried by mellow and harmonious tannins.
