The estate
Cabasse wine estate: a house below the village
Domaine de Cabasse owes its name to the ‘Casa bassa’, which means ‘the house below the village’ in Provençal. This name refers, of course, to the charming village of Séguret, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Located in the heart of the southern Rhône Valley, our vineyard is situated in the AOC Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Séguret appellation area, which has been recognised for over half a century.
- Recognition of the AOC: 1967
- Climate: mediterranean, influenced by the Mistral wind
- Altitude: between 140 and 350 meters
- Average yield: 32hl/ha
- Production : white wine, red wine, rosé wine
Terroir
A wine estate in the heart of the Rhône Valley terroirs
Our vineyard has found its haven of peace in the Séguret plain, on the site of the former Pialon estate, on the banks of the Ouvèze river. The site offers a 360° panoramic view of the surrounding villages of Rasteau, Roaix and Séguret, as well as the majestic Dentelles de Montmirail.

The cellar
The heart of the vineyard: where our wine is made
Our wines are produced on the estate, from harvesting to bottling, through to vinification. The most prestigious wines are aged in wood on the same site.
Corentin, our pianist-winemaker, exercises his virtuosity on rainbow vats, barrels and other demi-muids to offer you the best wines of the Rhône Valley.
