And there you have it, another vintage in the vats… and this one is very special to us, as it is the first to be certified organic, which is a major step forward for us and our customers.

Even though it has been more than 10 years since our soil has seen any weedkillers, we now only use natural products to care for our vines and grapes.

We started the harvest on a very unusual date, August 24! Usually, we finish our summer vacation around this time. But the summer drought disrupted our plans and the grapes ripened prematurely due to lack of water. The famous “August storm” failed to materialize. As a result, the harvest was very low in quantity, with small, fairly juiceless berries, but on the contrary, very high concentration and a richness of aromas more intense than ever.

The 2025 vintage in the Rhône Valley will be rare and excellent.

The weather was mild and favorable, with not too much wind, and a sharp cold spell for three weeks in September allowed us to harvest ripe grapes in excellent sanitary conditions.

Our vinification base is rich, and we were able to work on pumping over and racking with unusual intensity to bring out the rounded aromas.

The rosé is perfectly amylic, lively and sensual, with a delicate hint of candy-like aromas ; the reds from Sablet and Séguret are silky, aromatic, round, and fruity, just as we like them.

Gigondas, harvested at the end of September with a crack team of Swedish grape pickers who came to lend us a hand, is even more intense than usual and promises a full-bodied nectar that remains refined and delicate, delighting our palates and aging well in the cellar for years to come.

Corentin spent his days and nights there, let’s hope his piano doesn’t hold it against him too much! It’s another form of art, also very demanding and requiring total, uncontrollable investment, but as the saying goes, “when you love something, you don’t count the cost!”

But “shhh!!!” The “malo” is still underway under close watch, the cellar is buzzing with its last shivers, let nature refine its masterpiece.
