Terroir
Beginning of the Séguret foothills and end of the Ouvèze alluvium, sandy soil
Winemaking process
- Vatting: total destemming, maceration for around 21 days in concrete vats.
- The first week: gentle racking and pumping over.
- Alcoholic fermentation between 25 and 28°C.
- Each grape is vinified separately and blended in the spring.
- Matured in concrete vats over the winter.
Tasting
Deep, brilliant colour. The nose reveals a rich palette of black fruit, liquorice and nutmeg. Powerful, full-bodied and dense on the palate, with plenty of freshness, elegance and enveloping tannins.
